Sarah’s intention behind cooking is to create food from the heart that heals, nurtures and nourishes the human body and spirit. Growing up in a kitchen where something was always “brewing,” Sarah learned to cook primarily through watching her mother. As she got older, she stumbled through many diets in a search for a diet that worked for her and hence, learned to cook many different types of foods from vegan and vegetarian to wheat and dairy free. Sarah has a deep understanding of people’s needs when it comes to food and is able to tailor a delicious meal to a person’s dietary restrictions.
Sarah lives in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia where she cooks part time for the Farm of Peace in Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania. She also travels to private clients in the Washington DC area. She is a professional fine artist and you can find her artwork at www.SoulSeedArt.com as well as at the Mountain Laurel Gallery in Berkeley Springs. She is also a Master Sufi Teacher in the Shadhiliyya Sufi order.
