Sarah’s HeART of Cooking is a “fee plus” service, meaning that prices are based on a fee, plus the cost of groceries. There is no “mark-up” on the food; you pay exactly what I pay for the food at the store.
Basic Service Plan and Fee: Most people needs are met by the 5 entrees and 5 sides menu plan. Each dish provides 4 servings.
This plan costs $275 plus the cost of groceries, containers, and travel time outside my radius. If you have a very limited or specific diet, I charge $25 more per cook day. *
Because each client’s needs are different, the best way for me to give you a quote for my service is for me to find out what your needs are. I will work with you to design a schedule and a service that works for you, whether you are single with no time to cook or a family of six or more. I am flexible and willing to cater to your individual needs. If you only need my services on occasion, I would be happy to make arrangements for this. The price per meal is comparable to what you may pay in a restaurant. However, there isn’t a restaurant that can match the personal aspect I offer my clients.
* Prices subject to change.

Basic Service: Based on 2-4 week period
|
|
Basic service provides food for up to a month of meals prepared and stored for you on a cooking day. Some meals will be kept fresh while others will be frozen in your choice of individual or family portions. Meals are then heated for you to enjoy later. Menus are designed specifically for you and your family in mind.
Each menu selection is accompanied by a side dish or soup of your choice. Extra items, such as breads, desserts or extra sides can be provided for an additional cost.

Fresh Service: Based on 1-week period
|
|
Whereas meals need to be frozen for the Basic Service, the Fresh Service offers weekly cooking days to provide fresh food throughout your week. This service works well for people who prefer not to freeze their food or who eat a primarily raw diet.
These menu items can be chosen from the basic or fresh menus, matched with side dishes of your choice and refrigerated in your serving dishes for you to heat at your leisure. The plan provides one salad selection with a homemade dressing for each cook session.

Additional Information:
A container fee will be added to the first cook date. You may choose re-usable containers, such as Pyrex, or disposable containers, such as Gladware or Ziploc containers. If using disposable containers, there will be occasional replacement costs. Like the groceries, there is no "mark up" on container costs. The container costs will be included on the grocery invoice.
Service fees are due in advance. Grocery invoices are due within 5 days of receipt. Five-day notice cancelation policy.
Travel to and from my house and yours is free for the first thirty miles. I charge $25 per hour of driving to and from your home beyond the thirty-mile radius to cover gas expense and my time. Click here to see a delivery price chart.
