Q: What kind of recipes does the Newsletter offer?

A: The HeARTful Newsletter recipes include the following:

    * Recipes from the Sample Menus pages on my website

    *  Some meat dishes and some vegetarian dishes

    *  Recipes that have no more than 10 ingredients

    *  Recipes using whole, natural ingredients

    *  Recipes the kids will enjoy - some of the all-time favorites with wholesome ingredients

    *  Minimal use of dairy, wheat, corn and soy.  Suggestions made whenever these ingredients are used.

    *  Recipes that are “eclectic” and creative without being too far out.

Q: Are there side dishes included in the weekly menus?

A: There may be a side dish suggestion, an easy side dish recipe, or no side dish if a meal is complete in and of itself.

Q: How can this help me in my life?

A: Speaking from experience, if I don’t have a plan for a week for meals, I find myself at the grocery store buying the same things without any new ideas for meals.  The HeARTful Newsletter will help with the following:

No more fretting about what to make. It’s already planned for you and all you do is shop for the ingredients.

You will make less trips to the grocery store each week.

You will save money because you will eat out less often and won’t buy groceries on impulse, such as frozen dinners.

New and interesting meals every week.

You and your family will eat healthier because you know what is going into your meals. (Restaurants and pre-made foods often have chemicals and preservatives in them). Hey, you might even lose a few pounds.

Q: How many servings do the recipes come in?

A: I write each recipe for four (4) servings. But if you want to make less you can half the recipe, or double it for extra servings.  There are also many dishes that can be frozen, so you can freeze the extras for the weekends or for lunches.

Q: What if I don’t want to make all the recipes on the menu?  Can I still use the shopping list that you provide?

A: The shopping lists are coded for each recipes so that you can delete a recipe if you wish.
